Hey this is a call to action to revolutionise creative thinking and make the best of our talents. Let the good stuff rise up!
Make a packing list in Evernote
Be sure you bring everything you need along for your trip with a packing list of items. You can even check them off as you add them to your suitcase.
Yeah sometimes I look in awe at talent around but then again they started somewhere, and so we can all. This article is great primer to stop being phased by the self doubting Thomas within and just do it.
Mindmapping for visual creatives is a must in my opinion. It losens up the creative block and gives you options you were not aware of…try it. Graphic Designers should check this post and see if they can intergrate it into their design process.

Organize Your Kids School Information with Evernote
Scan or take pictures of all your kids school information including: lunch menus, teacher handouts, contact info, assignment lists, classroom policies, and calendars. Have it all saved in Evernote. If you have more than one child use separate notebooks or tags for each.
Everybody does lists, but good practice of clarifying the next physical actions is vital…read this gem of an article from Merlin Man in 43 folders
Used mainly in interior design to capture mood of clients, this is great for Branding/design issues. As well as capturing vague wooly head-in-th-cloud thinking. Pretty basic, but free (ah a real deal winner) it allows you to drag-n-drop images from the web (via a firefox plug-in) to create collages. There are other collage making apps out there, but this seems quite a nice simple solution. It could do with some collaborative capabilities o get people from remote sites working together on the same moodboards (as would be done in face-to-face meetiings ‘moodboard’ sessions), but this is still sort of in beta.
GTD Freemind (via Pronovix)
For those with a visual bent on organising your ‘stuff’ this video shows how you can use the attributes feature in Freemind to create Contexts (e.g. @Calls, @anywhereyoulike, etc.) and then filter them out. Saves having your mind map look like the the London underground (with all those extras branches for context).
fine tuning your projects and next action lists with verbs makes total sense - your doing it verbally makes it easier to visualise doing it in reality - positive thought momentum should be working in your favour.
